Welcome to the official website of the Weston and Lois Weedon Drama Group

We are an amateur dramatic group based in the south Northamptonshire villages of Weston, Lois Weedon and Wappenham. We staged our first production, the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, in early 1999. We now produce a winter pantomime, a more traditional play during the summer and a selection of one-off events including murder mystery evenings.

In 2011 we joined forces with the Helmdon Bridge Players and the Eydon Players to hold the first South Northamptonshire Drama Festival, an evening of one-act plays. The festival has taken a break for the past couple of years but we're planning to hold the next one in 2019. For more information about the festival, please visit the South Northamptonshire Drama Festival pages of this website.

Our last production was Murder in Play, which we staged in September 2018. We are currently planning our next performance. We'll announce details on the website when we are starting rehearsals.

Discover our past productions, find out about forthcoming productions and learn more about the group. We are always on the lookout for new members, whether to act on-stage or form part of our backstage team, and we run a Saturday morning drama club for 7-16 year olds.

If you live in the area and would like to get involved with a friendly amdram group, or just want to find out more about our next production, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Jonathan Carpenter on 01295 768120.
