Welcome to the official Weston and Lois Weedon Drama Group Website

We are an amateur dramatic group based in the south Northamptonshire villages of Weston and Lois Weedon. We staged our first production, the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, in early 1999. We now produce a winter pantomime, a more traditional play during the summer and a selection of one-off events including murder mystery evenings.

In 2011 we joined forces with the Helmdon Bridge Players and the Eydon Players to hold the first South Northamptonshire Drama Festival, an evening of one-act plays. The festival has taken a break for the past couple of years but we're planning to hold the next one in 2018. For more information about the festival, please visit the South Northamptonshire Drama Festival website.

Our last production was Little Red Riding Hood in February 2018.

Use the tabs to discover our past productions, find out about forthcoming productions and learn more about the group. We are always on the lookout for new members, whether to act on-stage or form part of our backstage team, and we run a Saturday morning drama club for 7-16 year olds.

If you live in the area and would like to get involved with a friendly amdram group, or just want to find out more about our next production, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Jonathan Carpenter on 01295 768120.
