Between Mouthfuls and Gosforth's Fete by Alan Ayckbourn

5-6 July 2013

Between Mouthfuls and Gosforth's Fete are two plays from Alan Ayckbourn's Confusions, a series of five interconnected one-act plays. In Between Mouthfuls we meet Donald and Emma Pearce and Martin and Polly, two couples dining at a restaurant. But there was more to Donald's recent business trip than met the eye, and Polly has been strangely absent too.

Emma - Councillor Pearce to give her her full title - reappears in Gosforth's Fete. Gosforth is having problems repairing the tannoy in preparation for the village fete. But when he gets it working there are unintended consequences.
